I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. I graduated from the Clarence Public School system, a suburb of Buffalo, and from Canisius College, in downtown Buffalo. I also spent a semester studying abroad at London Metropolitan University in the heart of London.

I've wanted to be a journalist since high school and I've tried out many different kinds of journalism in search of what I want to be a part of. My experience shows I've been part of radio, magazines, newspapers, and websites in my career. I've written about a variety of different topics, as you can see in my sample page.

I've grown to love working on community journalism from my time in Cortland, NY. There's something intriguing and special seeing local residents fight for a better future for their part of Central New York. It also made me see how much people value their local news outlet as a trusted information source and where leader's ambitions are held accountable.

If I'm hired, I can assure my employers I will do my best in pursuit of quality content and lasting stories.

  • Wrote concert reviews from shows taking place at various venues in the Buffalo area.
